| We work with other local schools, childcare providers and agencies to ensure that any transitions between schools and providers are well supported. We follow the Hull Transition Good Practice Guide, which can be found at https://www.howareyoufeeling.org.uk/transition-support With our own setting we ensure that opportunities for visits to new classrooms and meeting new class teachers take place towards the end of the Summer Term. For pupil with SEND we start this process earlier and provide additional support through the use of visuals and/or social stories. |
Secondary Transition Dates
All Hull secondary schools have the same Transition week as part of the Core offer to make it consistent across the city. This year dates for year 6 to year 7 transition are provisionally booked for 10th – 14th July 2023
