Parents as Partners in Learning

We know the importance of working with parents and carers to ensure that your child has the best primary experience possible. Parents and staff work together to ensure that all pupils in the academy reach their full potential.

There are a number of ways to let us know your thoughts about our Academy:

Daily Contact

Each evening the teachers are on their class doors on the playground. If you would like to speak to the teacher, please allow them to get all of their class safely to the parents, they will then be available to answer any queries.

Weekly Pop-Ins

Mrs Finn holds a weekly pop in session to answer any queries or provide support.

Parent Voice

Mrs Midgley-Wright holds a termly meeting for parents to introduce Parents to new agendas and policies at the Academy and to discuss Parent views. The minutes for Parent Voice are also available on the website.

Open Book Evenings

We offer Open Book Evenings every half term. This is an opportunity to come and take a look at your children's work.

Make an appointment

You may wish to discuss an issue in more depth, we would ask you to either talk directly to your child's class teacher after the Academy day to arrange an appointment or contact the school office who will be more than happy to arrange a suitable point of contact and time to come in and speak to the relevant adult.
