We welcome and value your support as a parent or carer.
We know that parental involvement has a strong and positive influence on a child’s level of attainment: the more parents get involved the higher the level of the pupil's attainment. As an Academy we are committed to working closely with families to ensure we are able to provide the best education and provision for your son/daughter.
There are a number of ways to let us know your thoughts about our Academy:
Each evening the teachers are on their class doors on the playground. If you would like to speak to the teacher, please allow them to get all of their class safely to the parents, they will then be available to answer any queries.
Our EWB team member Mrs Hewitt holds weekly pop ins on a Wednesday morning at 9am for any parents that have any issues that they would like to discuss.
Miss Oldroyd and Mrs Finn hold a half termly meeting for parents to introduce Parents to new agendas and policies at the Academy and to discuss Parent views.
Open Book Evenings
We offer Open Book Evenings every half term. This is an opportunity to come and take a look at your children's work.
Make an appointment
You may wish to discuss an issue in more depth, we would ask you to either talk directly to your child's class teacher after the Academy day to arrange an appointment or contact the school office who will be more than happy to arrange a suitable point of contact and time to come in and speak to the relevant adult.
