We use SchoolComms for sending emails and text messages to parents. An app is available for parents to download – please contact the academy for more details.

Please note that the office is staffed from 8:30 until 3:30 every day. 

What do I do if my child is absent from school?

Please telephone 01482 224336 to report absence, by 9.00am. A call should be made on each day of absence. 

What do I do if my child has a medical appointment during the school day?

Wherever possible, appointments should be made outside of school hours, however where this is not possible please inform the academy in advance of the appointment. This can be via a letter, telephone call or at the Main Office. You will also need to provide a copy of the appointment card/letter. You will then need to collect your child from the Main Office at the allocated time. 

What do I do if my child needs to take medication during the school day?

Please bring medicines to the office where you will be asked to complete a medicine administration permission form.

All medication must be handed into and collected from the Main Office by parents/carers. Children must not be given responsibility for medication. 

Where can I buy uniform?

Uniform is now available to order online from https://www.sptuniforms.co.uk/

All pupils attending the academy must wear the school uniform can that consists of a white polo shirt, black or grey trouser, pinafore, dress or shorts and a royal blue jumper. Shoes/trainers should be plain black. Y6 pupils will be expected to wear a tie.

Do I have to pre-book breakfast club in?

It is preferred that places are booked in advance and paid for using a payment card provided by the academy. Breakfast Club costs £1 per child. If you need help with this, please contact the office. 

Can my child attend any after-school club?

All places at after school clubs are allocated and you will be informed by letter if your child has a place. 

How do I find out how well my child is doing at school?

Parents’ Evenings are held each term for each class where you will be able to make appointments to meet with teachers. If you would like a meeting at any other time, please arrange this directly with your class teacher.
